About Me
I am a strong editor, story teller, and communicator.

I'm a recent graduate of Lipscomb University with a BA in English Creative Writing, and a History Minor.
I just completed two years of making magic at Walt Disney World as a Merchandise Cast Member, participating in the Disney College Program first, followed by a year where I worked part time as a trainer and coordinator.

On this page you will find samples of writing, from poetry to short films, to display my full range of creative writing skills.

Why do I want to tell stories?

I have a passion for story telling and bringing stories to life, through both creating my own pieces and editing the work of others. I think stories, fictional, historical, even fantasies, are the basis of our world. They are how we learn, grow, connect, and understand the people and world around us. I want to help bring some of these amazingly inspiring and insightful stories to life as an editor.

Why am I qualified?
Editing is one of my passions. I enjoyed every minute of my time as a consultant in Lipscomb University’s Writing Studio, editing other students’ papers and tutoring them to improve their writing skills. Being a Writing Studio consultant has enhanced my editing skills and prepared me to be a strong, valuable member of any team helping to produce the best content possible.

These editing skills were proven effective during my Editorial Internship with Worthy Publishing. Worthy tested my skills by trusting me with several projects that allowed me to interact with and learn the entire publishing process. It was here that I proved to myself that I was more than capable of being a successful, revered editor, and that I would thoroughly enjoy the career I am pursuing.

Paired with my editorial skills, I'm also a strong creative mind and writer. This site holds some of my favorite pieces. However, the one project not here is probably my favorite project so far. My senior year I was chosen to be Lipscomb's Singarama Head Writer and Student Coordinator for my team. Singarama is a student created and produced theatrical show, where I was working alongside fellow creative students to collaboratively create and bring to life lovable, funny characters and strong plot. My creative side was able to shine through this project, while I also learned so much more about collaboration and leadership.
